D.C Counsel recognizes gay marriage

Today Vermont became the 4th state to legalize gay marriage. The Governor of Vermont was trying to veto and make gay marriage illegal in Vermont. But Vermont legislature voted and gay marriage is to remain LEGAL in that state.
Today the D.C. legislature voted for legalizing same sex marriages. D.C. couples who are same sex are well on the road to being able to legally marry there. The bill is up for final approval next month.
