Today, 2 more major national banks fail. Bring the number of banks to crash and burn up to 25 this year alone. That is more than the past 5 years put together. I don’t know about you but this worries me. 25 banks, would you have ever thought that so many would fail? None of this would have happened is the democrats didn’t revoke the certain act. The all mighty and powerful Glass-steagall act. Glass-steagall act Prevented regular bank from being in investment industry. Funny isn’t it we all blame bush for this mess when it was Clinton. If banks did not leverage themselves so much then we may not have been in a recession or at least a lesser version of one.
Now onto the most important part! Is your money safe?? Depends if you have fewer than 250,001 dollars then Federal Deposit Insurance Corp (FDIC) protects that amount in case of a bank failure. Not bad. Should you keep your money in a bank though? I don’t I opened a sharebuilder account and bought Citi Group at 2 dollar a share. That stock is currently priced at 3.65, giving me a return of 82.5%. That return beats ANY return a bank can give you!
Yes, ladies and gentlemen I am going back to my roots in blogging FINANCE! Keep your eyes open for great deals on stocks! Right now the market is still underpriced!

hang·o·ver (hăng’ō‘vər) n. Unpleasant physical effects following the heavy use of alcohol.
Waking up with a hangover is the worst feeling in the entire world. If you are lucky enough to have someone who cares about you to help you through your hangover… here is what they need to do… (and I do mean someone who cares for you because chances are they babysat you while you were crazy drunk, gave you water to stop your dry heaving and rubbed your back and head until you fell asleep…and then to wake up and make the following for you served to you in bed… I want to say…that’s probably love at it’s finest lol)
Jessica’s hangover recipe:
utensils needed:
glass baking pan
counter top electric grill (if you dont have one invest and get one!)- you can make everything from grilled cheeses, eggs, bacon, french toast … you name it on these things!!!
bacon (as many strips as you want to cook… I made about 7)
Bisquit dough (pilsbury cans work fine)- combine three bisquits to make one big bisquit…this will make 3 huge bisquits and one little one (for me lol)
Scrambled eggs- cooked in the bacon grease on the electric grill.
Cheese- placed onto of the eggs to melt. Do this right before the eggs are fully done so the cheese melts but the eggs do not over cook.
Cut each bisquit in half. Place eggs/cheese/bacon onto each bisquit.
Serve the sandwich to them in bed with a large glass of orange juice, bottle of water and two motrin. - refill water all day long.
Remember- do not drink coffee. Cafeine will just dehydrate you more.
Put on sports center or your woman’s favorite channel… and leave the room. Eventually they will either fall back asleep… or get up and take a shower.
Like I said… it is time consuming. Chances are the person taking care of the hungover person really cares for them because if they didn’t they would say “babe your SOL and I got shit to do… here’s some water that is the best I got” LOLL.
But the above… really works. When you drink your liver releases a chemical that makes you feel like crap because it is breaking down the alcohol you consumed. You feel these effects HARD in the morning. Consuming fat (bacon grease) will help the pain of your hangover to go away. Your liver will start breaking down the fat you consumed and then start releasing a chemical into your body that will help you feel so so soooo much better.
If you are a vegetarian like me… here is what you should do…
Consume ice cream (something high in fat) or whole milk.
Eat a bowl of cereal or have a few scrambled eggs with cheese. I prefer Kashi Go Lean Crunch cereal because it is high in protein. And of course that smaller bisquit was for me… I ate that also. hehe.
Also drink a glass of OJ and a bottle of water. Grab a few motrin and you too should be okay to either go back to sleep or take a shower.

You have to give these guys some credit! This the 4th ship this week that they have captured. To top off this fact this is a fling a United States flag. With today’s ship that is 14 ships and 260 people that are being held hostage by these Pirates. How insane is this?? 260 people! You have to respect these guys they are good at what they do.
I think that most of us can also identify with them. We all wanted to be pirates living by our wits, free of laws and rebelling against authority. These guys are living that life but not by choice. Choices are few and far apart in Somalia. They took the cooler one (I think)
At some point though they will run into the wrong ship crew, a crew that is “locked and loaded” and the results will not be pretty.

This is probably the sickest article I’ve read in a long time. It is about a mother who lives in Pennsylvania trying to get her daughter pregnant with her boyfriends child because she was not able to have kids anymore. So the mom spikes the poor kids soda with rum and crushes sleeping pills in her tea. What sick B*tch really wants a baby that bad to do something like this? Atleast the teen went to the police and now she is safe. But this story made the NEWS… how awful is that?! This teen now faces peers that know how messed up her mom was towards her. Needless to say … I want to believe this poor girl has a bright future. But we all know what is really gonna happen. What a shame.

Party like a Rock Star! Hookers and Coke! This week’s breaking news Ashley daughter of our vice president Joe Biden may have been videotaped snorting coke! WTF? First off, her father was the “Drug czar” He has fought against drugs for the last I don’t know ever. I do not think that she would have been stupid enough to do any drugs in front of a camera. PLUS now that her father is the vice president, I am sure that she knows there will be a lot of people after her for anything that be used in the news. The other important factor is that The New York Post did not buy the video. Meaning that there is nothing on it. This is the case of some guy just trying to be slick. I hope a spook “cleans” him up for wasting our time.

Bill Orielly Sean Penn comment
So Bill O’Reilly has come forward saying that he doesn’t support Sean Penn because Sean Penn supported Suddam Hussein. Bill claims he will not spend any money on Sean’s movies.
If I were a betting gal… my money is on Bill. No way would I ever support Saddam Hussein. Sean Penn can go move to a country ruled under a dictatorship and live it, learn it & LOVE it.
GO BILL!!! and I love freedom of speech! Kudos to Bill for having the guts to say that he doesnt like Sean Penn.
But if these two were gonna fight my $$ cashhhh moneyyyyy $$ is on Bill. He has more anger in him. Sean Penn can go play hop scotch with Saddam.

Soap superman
I now understand what Agent Smith meant when he says “It’s the smell, if there is such a thing. I feel saturated by it. I can taste your stink and every time I do, I fear that I’ve somehow been infected by it.” The amount of disgusting habits that exist in this world is amazing. I just saw someone sneeze twice on the person next to them not even attempting to cover their mouth and not even say they are sorry. How? If I didn’t cover my mouth when I sneezed I will not feel right. It’s a simple habit that prevents people from getting sick. EASY RIGHT? But no, half the people in my school do not even understand this simple habit. You don’t even want me to start with the rules of the bathroom …. I don’t shake anyone’s hand in this place.
Next issue being, the stench from some of the student body. I can’t even comprehend how a person could be smelled from 15 or more away. A perfect example of this was in the library today and I had to leave because the smell of curry was burning my eyes. It was that bad. How hard it is to shower and take care of the smell? It’s not I know lots of people that eat curry and do not smell. THEY take care of the issue. What scares me the most is the fact that someday these habits will rub off on me. Fat chance…. But like no joke. I don’t want to get sick because someone didn’t wash their hands or themselves. Take care of these issues people or it that too much to ask for? USE SOAP LOTS OF IT

Ipod shuffle
A few weeks ago was the official release of the new iPod Shuffle. It looks great, smaller, smarter, and has new functions. But, in my opinion what makes it new also makes it a bad buy. The main issue I have is that they removed all the buttons from the player itself and placed them onto the head phones. A stupid innovation on Apples behalf if I can say so myself, due to the fact that headphones are notorious for failure. I am sure this was planned and replacements headphones will be around 30 to 40 dollars. EXTRA MONEY IN THEIR POCKETS. No one will say this but it is true. Go apple marketing right? This is not the first or last time apple will do this! Does everyone remember the ipod battery that died after 2 months and to top it off your warranty did not cover a new one. BAM 80 bucks out of your pocket. When will we learn? Go with a sony walkman mp3 same size same everything but you don’t need to covert, you can charge from any usb port and to top it off the headphones are the regular ones that work great. BUT hey we are all blind and will buy whatever bs apple will feeds the masses. Just because it’s a new shiny package everyone will thinks it is great……. This happens of often to the American people that it is not even funny. No one pays attention to things that go on behind what we are sold to as the truth. I will post topics like this every now and then come back and read up! The rest of the writers are great too!

So apparently there is a plan to tax the bonuses given out to the AIG creeps. Somehow after reading this article I feel like we don’t have the resources etc… to even get this tax thing right. They got rich off of our money. That is the truth and we have to accept it.
